I am 2 months out and my weight loss has stalled out. I haven't lost anything in 2 days. I don't know what's going on. I haven't changed anything.

Is or has anyone else experienced this? If so what did you do to kick it back into gear?

There is going to be stalls and plateaus in you WL journey, it is inevitable. Just stick to you plan and maybe change up your exercise program. Remember the scale is not the only measurement of your success. Your body is changing daily and sometimes the scale does not show it. Take measurements of your body and track the loss there as well as the weight itself.

Don't become obsessed with the number on the scale, it will drive you crazy.

I don't think this would be considered a stall because it has only been 2 days. I'm in the same boat though - 1 week no change in weight (8 weeks out). I upped my exercise and wonder if that's causing the delay. I also had some carbs this week which I regret and wonder if it has also had an impact on me losing. I know this isn't very helpful but wanted to say you're not alone.

I have stalled and lost through my 2 months post op too. I am very frustrated with this! I also track my Fluid and food intake and I have not taken in anything I shouldn't. I lost more on my pre op then after surgery! ????

Keep your head up!! You guys have to remember, if you are exercising and lifting weights.....MUSCLE WEIGHS MORE THAN FAT!! So pound for pound you may be losing inches in fat, but tightening everything up and converting to muscle...which will be heavier!!! When you clothes fit differently, you know you're doing something right!!! You gotta hang in there, dont give up!!!

Thank you all! Yeah, I'm losing inches for sure. I was a size 18 and now I'm a 14. I bought the size 14 last week and they're already getting loose. I do need to stop weighing myself every morning. Maybe I will give the scale to one of my kids to hide lol

I hadn't lost any weight in a little over 2 weeks. I'm 4 months out. I'm a little scared. Unfortunately I've had a hard time eating and found out recently that I have an ulcer. Apparently when it swells, after I eat, I don't have enough room for the food and I usually end up vomiting. So because of this, I end up grazing. I'm hoping with the ulcer Meds this will get better.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
