CJQuilter 0 Posted June 21, 2007 i was banded 6/18 afternoon.....and went back to work yesterday - Wednesday for half a day. I'm here today hopefully for the full day. No complications...no problems. The firt night was a little uncomfortable,,,but since that time - smooth sailing. I hope everyone else is the same My 4 yr old grandson was here and I pushed him in the swing on Tuesday for about 1/2 hour. He loved that. it was good for me too - I think being up and about has made a big difference than if you lay around. Carlotta

joanne1970 0 Posted June 29, 2007 Glad your well, I too am fighting hunger and I have to admit I have broken some of the rules. I am trying to stay to the small amounts but I am so hungry and not restricted it is hard. I had a vanilla ice cream and I have had to snack a few times, still I am 15 pounds lighter and I have been making but for my ooops by extra time on the treadmill or hiking. I keep reminding myself that this is not like gastric bypass and we are expected to loss 2 pounds a week. Like you, I am sure, I do not want to fail at this. Then I keep in mind that I am here because I have problems with food, DUH me, with no restriction th eproblem is still there. Good luck and hang in there. PS my surgeon does the first fill 6 weeks post op I have 2 1/2 to go :faint:
