Insurance and out of pocket

Recommended Posts

I have two questions. One for those of you who have at surgery, after insurance what was your total out of pocket. Just trying to get an Idea on how much I will have to pay out of pocket after insurance pays? Second... What is Anthems requirements and are they hard to get approved?

Call your insurance company directly to get the best info on requirements. I got a copy of mine online. You will get hundreds of different responses on out of pocket costs as insurance varies, deductibles, vary, surgeon costs vary, hospital stays vary, and hospital costs vary.

Anyone in oregon that got wls covered by united Heath care? Oregon , thus far is not one of the states that is now mandated to cover but I have heard with appeals and red tape, it is a possibility if it's medically necessary. Would love to hear anyone who has personal experience with uhc.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
