Hoven 33 Posted April 7, 2015 I'm meeting with my surgeon for the first time tomorrow. I've completed all the testing, and have the insurance approval and will be meeting with my surgeon for the first time. I've got a list of the normal questions, but is there anything you wished you would have asked. Or what was your most important question you really wanted to find out about. Thanks. Stephanie Stroup McIntosh 157 Posted April 7, 2015 I would just make sure you are comfortable with the procedure and his requirements. Make sure you know what he is going to do and what you will need to do. I googled a lot and my doc had me watch videos ahead of time, so I didn't really have any questions. 2 weeks Post-surgery, I wish I would have asked about how much he thought I should lose in 2 weeks, 1 month etc. That would be helpful to keep on track. Hoven 33 Posted April 8, 2015 The appointment went well. I know she answered my questions, but I'm a little stunned and can't remember. Stunned because when I sat with the admin folks to set an appointment for surgery, they asked if I wanted to so it April 15! I said yes. So, while I wanted to do this ASAP and get it over with, I'm stunned that its next week. I've been on their modified pre op diet for a couple of weeks. They said to continue that, so I'm good there. Just shocked that it came up so quickly. But pleased too.
