Alex Brecher 10,515 Posted April 6, 2015 Don’t underestimate the power of planning ahead. When it comes time for a snack or meal, you’re most likely to grab what’s easiest. That could be Cookies or chips if you didn’t plan ahead. If you did, you could be reaching for a higher-protein, more filling, and more satisfying container of strawberries and cottage cheese.< /p>
BLERDgirl 6,417 Posted April 6, 2015 Agreed it's like the old saying "failing to plan is planning to fail." It doesn't even have to be detailed. Usually my plan is if I need/want a snack I can have a small orange or an ounce of nuts. I have choices and I know they are there. Some days I don't have them, but when the mood hits, knowing they are there means I'm less likely to grab that snickers bar instead.

IcanMakeit 1,318 Posted April 7, 2015 I'm not the most organized person, but since I know I like Snacks, I divide my daily allotment of calories into four (on weekends) or five (on workdays) meals and I always keep my current favorites on hand. I'm not saying everyone should eat so many meals in a day, but it really helps me stay satisfied.
JustWatchMe 7,117 Posted April 20, 2015 I always keep Protein Powder single serving packs in my desk at work and the cupboard at home. All I need is a bottle of Water and I've got a shake in a pinch.
