starbuckscoffeegal 36 Posted April 6, 2015 Almost 6 weeks post op. I am so tired from about noonish until 5pm. It's not that mid day tiredness. But sheer exhaustion. I did return to work this past week and I guess I can contribute it to that?? But I'm getting plenty of sleep and all my supplements, Protein and Water. At what point do I think it's anemia or something else?
Cupcake 801 Posted April 7, 2015 I would check with my doctor because with you getting all of your Water, Vitamins and Protein in you should be feeling a little bit better but remember that you body is still adjusting. Keep us posted on your progress.
esskay77 785 Posted April 7, 2015 6 weeks isn't very long. You will still be tired for a bit and eventually that will change and you will have a LOT of energy! lol. Of course, when you have your check up with your doctor/nurse it's a good idea to bring it up.
foodfighter78 258 Posted April 8, 2015 When are you going to feel energy? I'm 3 weeks out and I feel tired, for some reasons I thought I would feel energize right after surgery lol
wildGoose 207 Posted April 11, 2015 Your body is quite busy healing and losing weight. I'm almost at six months out and I still need a nap on many days. But I don't do caffeine.
Djmohr 6,965 Posted April 11, 2015 Honestly I started to feel my best at around the 12 week mark. I felt very good right after surgery but I would get very tired in the afternoons. I remember clearly about the 12 week mark everything just clicking for me.
starbuckscoffeegal 36 Posted April 21, 2015 Oh I'm hoping that will happen for me. I have one cup of coffee a day and then green teA around noon/ after lunch. I thought green tea had natural caffeine and it's been helping me get thru the day. I've ordered Matcha green tea powder which I'm going to add to my smoothies as well to see if that helps too especially on my gym nights. I'll let you guys know if it helps ???? A2artgrl 15 Posted April 21, 2015 I just hit my four month mark, and I have been exhausted for the past few days. I didn't have any issues with it until recently, so maybe my body is just catching up...I think I slept 12-14 hours both days this weekend, and could have slept even more. It's so hard to function when it hits
