Anyone do outpatient surgery for VSG? How long were you in the hosp?

I had surgery at 9am, leak test at noon, discharged at 2pm.

I was at hospital overnight and sure wished I went home. My surgery was at 7:30 am and I could have gone home by 3. The night in the hospital was not restful, the staff was not particularly helpful and I was put in a room with a drama queen 72 year old that demanded a lot of attention! If I'd have gone home I would have felt a lot better! I was also self pay and I'd have saved $1200!

Mine said outpatient too and I was in the hospital 2 nights
