How long does dumping syndrome last?

It can last anywhere from 1 hour to 24 hours. Anything longer then that, as you unfortunately found out you need to go to the er.

I had it 2 times.

The first time was 3 months post op. I just wanted to chew someting. So i made a piece of toast with spray butter.

OMG!!!!!!! After that one bite, I thought I was having a heart attack!!!!!!!!

Between bathroom visits, I just layer on the couch and cried.

Prayiñg for it to stop.

It took about 5 hours to stop.

It was about a year before I ever tried toast again, lol

Just if it happens remember the last food you sand don't eat that er again or wait a very long time, lol

But snails, good for you, but yuke, lol.

When eating any kind of shell ANYTHING be careful. The have a lot of bacteria as you unfortunately found out.
