HappiTam 19 Posted April 3, 2015 This is going to sound so stupid, but I was only concerned about any remaining bowel prep leaving my system before surgery started. I knew I was at a great hospital with an excellent surgeon with an awesome staff. So I figured that I would be just fine relaxing and enjoy being knocked out. :-)
Mommabird 367 Posted April 4, 2015 I was strangely calm. I slept well the night before, was calm during the hour drive to the hospital. I never even got to sit down in the waiting room before being taken back to pre-op. My husband and I prayed for my surgeon and everyone else who would be involved in the surgery. My surgeon's first words to me were that he'd already been praying for me. I was completely relaxed when I was wheeled to the OR.
