Welcome TexGal!! I was banded on 05/31 in Austin!! Happy as a clam I am!!! :) I lost 17 lbs from my pre-op diet, and 15 lbs in just 11 days post op! Good luck to you!!!!

Hi, all.

I'm from Texas, too. I'm not banded yet, but hope to get the insurance pre-certification out of the way as soon as possible. Will probably take at least 3 months but I've decided I'm worth it. I hope in the meantime to get lots of good info here.

Just got my go ahead with banding date of 12/19 with Dr. Benevides in Richardson....am soooo excited! Is anyone else going to be banded at the same time by Dr. B?
