Of course I'm losing weight where I don't want to.

I have always had the flattest ass. Wide at the hip but no bubble to speak of. Now just sitting on a chair for more than 10 minutes my butt starts to ache. Guess that just makes me have to get up and move. Lol.

Stay away from wooden chairs my friend. You may be suffering from boney butt syndrome.

it's funny we have no control of where the weight comes off. During my weight loss I had chicken legs, no butt and weight around my middle. at 10 months I still have no butt.

Lol, and my big butt will be the last place it goes from with my luck.

I've never had a small butt or slim thighs. And now, during the last 10 pounds, suddenly there they are!

Never expected that!

lack of tissue or fat in the tailbone area is a real issue, i sit on coccyx cushions at work and at home, even the best office chair still makes me feel like someones trying to grab my colon via my butt whenever i get up. Worst is riding the exercise bike at the gym, every 10 minutes i have to adjust my butt or else it fels like the seat attempting to go where no man has gone before...or woman for that matter but i digress,

There is that old saying

"Rectum?" ""Nah I damned near killed em!"

bet my asssss is smaller than your asssss

i always heard that the last place you gained weight, that's how/where the weight will start coming off

if you do sit ups, leg lifts etc

i heard you can't successfully loose in one specific area

you can target ie the stomach or legs, but it doesn't usually come off that way

weight should comes off in different areas - when it wants to

my tushy also "disappeared"

thats ok by me

"BUTTT -_- " i don't miss it ;)

strange, after 2+ years maintenance i never had a problem sitting et al

tush is flat :(

but doesn't hurt when i sit or anything

thats a good thing

the OP mentioned using one of "those" cushions

that should help

keep up the good work

kathy

I lose my boobs first, my tummy last and my butt never LOL

However, I strength train and place a lot of emphasis on working out my lower body because it's the largest muscle group which means I'm burning the most calories. Also, it builds your butt! Squat for your life and build yourself some cushion if you can!

I'm still preop and I've already lost almost a whole cup size in my bra but not very much around the actual band of my bra. It's super frustrating because I'm pretty sure it means they're gonna completely go and everything else will be evening out, which will give me a nice awkward shape for a while.

Meh. I'll buy new ones.

I use to say that my ddd were rented, lol. Well I must have been late on a few payments caue they have been repoed, lol

They are jsut little bumps now :(

As far as my butt, I noticed a few months ago that when I was in the tub, my but was KILLING me.

Were didi it go???????

When I shave my legs on the ide of the tub, I have to do one leg at a time and get up cause, holy heck, it relly does feel like someone is tring to shove a pole up there.

I have the chicken legs ith a lot of loose skin

I just had a Tummy Tuck on 3/21//15. Still very swollen but it is looking great.

I wish my insurance wiould help with the boobs and my leg but no go :(

I think I am gonna start a booby jar.

I don't want big ones, just the ones that I had, lol

As soon as I can I will be in squat hell. But I need some cushion back.

Plus maybe it will put muscle in my legs so they won't look like what I am having for suppa, lol

Keep up the great work everyone :)

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
