ShelbyRae 2 Posted March 30, 2015 Hello all, I am currently down 26 pounds and 4.5 weeks post op. I've been at a stall for about 2 weeks now and was wondering if anyone has ideas on how to get back in the "losing circle" (:
Veronica Page 488 Posted March 30, 2015 Yes....don't worry about it. Everyone gets the stall. I've had two since my surgery both lasting two weeks which means all together I had a month of not losing. I recommend you stay the course and let your body adjust to the large weight loss you have had already. Your body is just working its self out. Drink your fluids and get that Protein in and when you least expect it you will see some movement in the scale. If you are cleared for working out just walk a lil extra. I freaked out my first stall and now I just don't care cause I know it will move again and with as much as I work out there is no way I'm not going to see improvements! Good luck! You'll do great! ShelbyRae 2 Posted March 30, 2015 That might be part of my problem... definitely not getting all of my Protein in. I find shakes hard to keep down! Will work on doing that! Thank you for the kind words and Goodluck on your journey! (:
Veronica Page 488 Posted March 31, 2015 lol I haven't had a shake since my surgery. I hate how they taste. Try eggs and vegan burgers cause they are soft and full or Protein or make your own Protein Shakes if the store ones are gross. I did for awhile with soy chocolate milk a banana and unflavored Protein Shake mix. It was good but I honestly just got tired of them. I'm rooting for you!
