There is little in there so it's not unusual at all. I think I was a 8 days and then it was very loose and not much.

That varies for each surgeon. You should have been given a timeline for each stage. If not then contact your NUT/ surgeons office.

Annexing I would not hit the gym until your cleared by your doctor because seven though you feel great it takes 6 weeks before your inside heals, I would just walk as much as you can perhaps I your neighborhood you don't want to go t far because you may have a set back .

I suggest walking. I started walking on the treadmill for 10 minutes 2x per day and then worked up to more as the days went on. Walking around the living room on every other commercial and climbing the stairs after every show to get in extra steps and make it a little different.

I will be 3 weeks out on Tuesday. Yesterday I went bowling. I do not feel like I hurt myself but I am sore today. I probably should not have done that but it felt really good to interact. It was only 20 throws of an 8lb ball but I had not bowled in probably 20 years. Hind sight I would not recommend doing that-I should not have taken any chance on hurting myself.

Trial and error...as long as I learn from my errors...

I use Milk of magnesia every couple of days because I am not having regular BM's. It cleans me out and the bloating and gas goes away

Walking is the best thing right now. Don't hit the gym just yet. Wait until you're at least 4 weeks out and even then only do light weights or light workouts. That's what I've been doing. I'm 5 weeks out

Ok thanks..i guess i am so eager to lose..i may have overdid mself with drinking the Protein Shake because i am now having to go every few minutes.. i dont think its dumping syndrome because there is no pain or discomfort.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
