Stevehud 1,790 Posted March 29, 2015 Personally dont like atjkins, too much saturated fat for me, and wayy too many calories, but as I often say and words to live by everyone is different, what doesnt work for everyone else could work for you, its totally an individual thing. Good luck!
BLERDgirl 6,417 Posted March 29, 2015 why do a fad diet if you're already o a bariatric diet. Just continue to follow docs orders and push through the stall.
robga999 129 Posted March 31, 2015 Atkins diet is pretty much what you are supposed to do with the sleeve.protien and very low carbs.and of course lots of water.in the past I always had success doing atkins and I always gained everything back when I went to high carbs, with this surgery you have to eat your Protein first then if there is room {which most likely be}thenn add some carbs.i do it with veggies. No exactly. bariatirc diets are designed to put you into ketosis, which is just a part of the Atkins theory. My carbs range from 30 -70 daily and I have been losing consistently with no stalls. LSF 264 Posted May 10, 2015 I think 86 pounds in 7 months is a lot. You just need to stick to high Protein and low carb. Your body might stall for a month to catch up and if you stick to 1000-1200 calories a day you will see the scale move. Even Atkins has added more carb to their diet
