Pac-woman 325 Posted March 28, 2015 (edited) I didn't tell anyone before surgery because I didn't want anyone discouraging me. Now, I could care less who knows. As a matter of fact, I am proud that I took control of my life. To do such a surgery takes a lot of courage, patience and stamina. This by any means is not easy. People may think the surgery did it all. But the surgery only helps restrict your portion (for the time being) everything else is up to you. There are a few at my work place that I know it is eating them alive that I am losing weight and they may try to find ways to come up with a negativity about the surgery. Let them talk, at the end of the day, you will be looking and feeling great....they can go ahead and keep eating the office donuts.
