TammyDTM 391 Posted March 26, 2015 @@bubbles2015 Hi there Bubbles! I am 4 weeks out also. I noticed that you said that it takes you 40 minutes to finish your egg. I can't eat a whole scrambled egg (w/cheese) yet. I can feel full after just over half. My nutritionist told me to stop eating after 20 minutes. I eat about 1/4 cup of food each meal. I can eat a little more yogurt. Anyway, eating over a period of 40 minutes cuts down on your Fluid intake time. Maybe ask your Nut about the 40 minute meals? TammyDTM 391 Posted March 26, 2015 @@Hertsukfem31 You said: "I'm 2 weeks post op now and still feel unwell, extreme exhaustion, feel sick, trying new things like Weetabix and I am gonna try scrambled egg soon but it's just a case of too exhausted to try" I am 4 weeks post-op and I am still extremely exhausted. Call your nurse for suggestions. I called yesterday and was told to drink G2 Gatorade and to eat fruit. I did that and am feeling just a bit better. She told me that the exhaustion can last six to eight weeks. HANG IN THERE! I hear it gets better!

bubbles2015 30 Posted March 27, 2015 @@TammyDTM, I was told it could easily take me that long to eat and that it is very normal. I think because Protein and calories more important at this point, I have all day and night to drink. That comes from my doctor so I feel right on track. Hertsukfem31 50 Posted March 27, 2015 I'm having to go back a step for a few days as I have tried a few things last 2 days only 1-2 teaspoon full each time and become extremely exhausted, nauseous and my heart rate starts thumping very quickly, I'm so annoyed as I felt much happier starting the next phase and now I am back to the start again :-(
