olu1970 1 Posted March 25, 2015 Hello, I just had the sleeve on 3-20-2015, and I am having craving for anything to eat. I am keeping up on my liquid diet. But the temptation for even a cracker is so nerve racking is crazy. Is it too early to start the Protein Shake? ???
motherof5 364 Posted March 25, 2015 You will have to follow your team's plan. But right off the bat I was drinking Protein Shakes.< /p>
beckahjames 4 Posted March 25, 2015 FOLLOW THE PLAN!!! I was only on clear liquid for 2 days, but then they moved me up to full liquids and I started my Protein then...I have a hard time with my Protein drinks and struggled to keep them down (I struggled to keep anything down)... Don't try the cracker...I was told I could try a cracker on day 28 and even then my mouth was so dry when I tried it I couldn't even swallow it. I understand missing chewing, It's a strange thing really...
Veronica Page 488 Posted March 25, 2015 Its sooo hard but stick to it. Its not worth blowing off course for. I know you probably miss chewing for one. It will pass and soon enough you will eat solids again. Stay strong!

bigdrewfl 18 Posted March 25, 2015 Hi, I had surgery on the 20th also. So far so good. I still don't get hungry much. I start my purée diet on Sat. Just a couple of mins ago I did cheat tho...I seen some watermelon in the fridge and I had a piece. (Just chewed it, and spit out the pulp) it felt so good to chew on something.
