Since having surgery on 3/16 I have been having the weirdest most vivid dreams. Prior to that I hardly ever remembered my dreams. Anyone else ?

I did too the first couple weeks. Probably the anesthesia.

During the 1st 10 days post-op, I kept having these post-apocalyptic dreams, almost nightly. I was taking a test to see if I was valuable enough to be part of some survivor group. The dreams stopped after the gas pains eased up. B)

I had the weirdest dreams that I forgot I was sleeved and ate potato chips. More than once I had these weird almost nightmare dreams about my sleeve. Ahh crazy times.

I just had a dream a couple days ago and my hair was falling out in large clumps, so i decided in the dream to shave my head and buy a wig. It seemed so real. I woke up and pulled my hair to make sure it was not coming loose.

Yes! One of my dreams was that I took a bite of my kids turkey sandwich and I freaked out! Ha!

I have weird dreams about eating a bunch of bad foods, then I wake up and am so glad I was just dreaming I work to hard to stuff my face with junk.

I dreamed that I put a big handful of popcorn in my mouth and then spit it out!

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
