Gagging and dry heaving

Im 4 weeks post op and A few days ago I started gagging and dry heaving at the most random times. I don't feel nausea or anything, it just happens. Has anyone experienced this before? Am I doing something wrong? How can I make it stop?!

That happened to me a few days after starting solid food. Once I slowed down and chewed thoroughly it hasn't reoccurred.

This happened to me about the same time and come to find out I wasn't drinking enough. Are you getting in all of your fluids? Once I really concentrated on my Fluid intake (I had to set an alarm on my phone to remind me to drink), the gagging and dry heaving resolved.
