Jenn1376 10 Posted March 23, 2015 I had surgery a little over a month ago and I've lost 36 pounds. I don't know why, but it seems less than some. How much did you loose in the first month?
MamaTo3inNH 100 Posted March 24, 2015 I had RNY on 1.19 and am only down 32. I think you're doing great!
waterlily22 15 Posted March 24, 2015 Hi jenn1376, I think you are doing great! I started off at about the same weight as you, but I had surgery in December and have only lost about 40 pounds. Much less than many others here and les than most of those in my support group. I am older than many others so maybe that is why I am losing more slowly. Just keep working at it and I am sure you will do great!
Jenn1376 10 Posted March 24, 2015 Thank you both for the support. Now if I can only kick the insomnia. :-/

Every person is different, and I am learning to love myself and the new body I am slowly getting!! Good luck to you! ????
Jenn1376 10 Posted April 4, 2015 (edited) Thank you all for the support. I have lost 42 pounds so far and I can really tell the difference in my clothing. None of it fits anymore. So to Celebrate. I'm going to buy new jeans from the women's section not the plus size for the first time in 17 years! Edited April 4, 2015 by Jenn1376

layknee 357 Posted April 7, 2015 I had surgery October 13, 2014 and I had lost 23 pounds on my own from May 2014 to October 2014 but since my surgery I've lost 55 pounds they give me a grand total of 78 not as much as other people in my group not as much is one of the others who had surgery on the same day as me she's already in the 100s. Well I'm lingering in the 220s but it's still better than the 300 I was that in the beginning. My diabetes is gone as well so that's a plus.
