Sherry W 23 Posted March 22, 2015 Had my first foaming and throw up session since my surgery. Ugh not good don't wanna do that again. Jeeze I feel gross. Tried to eat stuff I shouldn't have, a small piece of pork roast chewed up very well but it didn't stay. It's happened to me many times. I was sleeved on 12/30. I think I am doing all the right things but still have these bad episodes. Not good.
minniegirl 258 Posted March 22, 2015 Its happened to me once but I didn't throw up although that might have been a relief. Do NOT want it to happen again.
WL WARRIOR 692 Posted March 22, 2015 I'm 5 1/2 months post op and had my first foaming/throw up experience yesterday. I ate fresh kale, which probably should have been eaten steamed or cooked. What a horrid experience! I won't ever eat that again. Besides that, I tolerate most meats and vegetables rather well.
uni2424 48 Posted March 22, 2015 How soon after you eat does it happen?
WL WARRIOR 692 Posted March 22, 2015 I actually threw up/foamed 90 minutes after eating the kale. It's odd that it took so long to upset my stomach. It happened 15 minutes after taking my bedtime pills, which included an antibiotic that I had been taking for a sinus infection. So, it either was just the kale or a combination of kale and the pills. Either way, I had extreme nausea and stomach upset for 10 minutes before it happened. I threw up kale and pills at the same time. Throwing up half way dissolved pills is quite nasty. Although I felt tons better afterward.
kyrickchick64 468 Posted March 22, 2015 It only took about 15 minutes. Ugh
