A_BetterMe 1 Posted March 19, 2015 I'm five weeks out and honestly I can eat or drink whatever I want as long as I eat slow and small portions .... Is my sleeve working ?
bikrchk 1,313 Posted March 19, 2015 Sounds like you're working it perfectly... eating slow and small portions. I honestly never had trouble with anything unless I ate too fast or over eat.
IcanMakeit 1,318 Posted March 19, 2015 Sounds like you're one of the lucky ones and you're afraid it's too good to be true. Don't worry, be happy.
chip305 51 Posted March 19, 2015 I am now 3 1/2 months out and honestly I never had trouble with anything I ate. I feel like I have to be extra diligent with what I eat and how much because I feel like I could overdo very easily. I weigh and log everything that goes in my mouth for that reason. The up side is I have no fear of trying new exciting foods because nothing bothers my ironclad sleeve.
LSF 264 Posted March 19, 2015 I'm 6 weeks out and in the same boat as you- but I was banded before and could eat anything, as long as it was slow. My portion size has decreased a lot with the sleeve. I haven't tried any fried foods, don't plan to either, nor have I tried any Desserts but I wouldn't be surprised if I don't have any issues with that either. Those will be saved for special occasions.
