Yes, search for "3 week stall". You will see hundreds of posts about it.

Most of us have had this happen.

I was sleeved on February 16. I went from 278 to 254 in the first two weeks. Since then I have not lost anything. I am in the same boat.

Check out the topic I started with a graph I made of one year of weight loss. You will see that stalls are very common. There can be other reasons for long-term stalls (1+ months), but if you are following your surgeon/nutritionist's prescribed nutrition/exercise plan, then you weight loss should resume within a few weeks after the stall has started.

Congratulations! You have reached The Dreaded Week-3 Stall. It's perfectly normal, and just about all of us have suffered through it. You're not crazy, and your doctor didn't screw up. In fact, you might not lose any weight for two weeks or even longer. But don't worry – after that, the pounds will start falling off if you stick to your program. And, the inches will continue to come off even while the scale isn't budging. Here's a good article that explains why it happens and why we all have to go through it. Hang in there. Pretty soon it'll be in the rear-view mirror and you'll be dropping weight again!

(Apologies to BP regulars who have seen this repeatedly, but it's a big deal to those who are going through it!)

@@Rogofulm Thank you for being the one man "dreaded 3 week stall" campaign!

It's awesome :)

Only thing to add is that once you are maintaining your new trim figure, you won't even remember stalls etc... take the long view and this stuff just doesn't matter!

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
