Newbie and it's great!

Hello! I'm new to this site. I had my gastric bypass surgery Feb 2, 2015, and things are going very well. The first couple of weeks were tough ... some Constipation, nausea, vomiting, fatigue ... but things turned around into the third week and it's wonderful! No regrets at all. There is definitely a learning curve trying to figure out what you can and can't eat, how much, when, etc., but it's well worth it.

At six weeks out from surgery I have lost 40 pounds! Yay! I've been exercising like a crazy person, working very hard to replace bored or stress eating with MOVING! It works if you set your mind to it. I say why replace bad addictions with more bad addictions? I still have a ways to go obviously, but so far, so good!
