I am considering purchasing a BB. I looked at the website and am curious what exactly you are purchasing. Would someone mind explaining. I would really appreciate it.

Also, does anyone have the watch? About how heavy is the piece that goes around the upper arm?

Thanks!!!!!!!

the basic purchase is the arm band unit. it comes with 2 bands (one medium, one XL i think). it also comes with a device where you can sync it to your computer without attaching the USB cable to the bugg.

YOU NEED WINDOWS or a MAC w/ windows capability to use the bugg.

i have both the bugg and the watch. i use the bugg daily but the watch, i may check a couple times a day but ehhh, not that cool. it can be removed from the watch band and just clipped on your shirt or (ahem) thrown in your purse.

the band unit itself weighs very little ... 1/2 a pound at the very most, but i am really horrible with guessing weights.. it took me a few days to get used to it on my arm, but now, it feels weird not being there.

i love my bugg!!

Thank you so much for the information. So you would suggest not purchasing the watch and just go with the bug?

On the 24 hour fitness site the cost is about 279, so does that include everything I will need to get started?

Thanks so much and I am glad you like your bug!!!!!!!

i bought mine directly from a 24 hour fitness location (not web site), so i dunno what yours will include. anyone have any feedback for her?

i dunno about the watch. maybe try it without and if you are OK not knowing how you are doing until you can upload the data, then dont get it.

good luck!

Hey anyone here interested in a bodybugg but you don't want to shell out the $400 for it? On the bodybugg users thread I found a link to get one for like $230. go to 24hourfitness.com and buy the bugg. Use coupon code BLC24. Just thought I would let you guys know in case you are interested.

Use the coupon code and save $50, if the offer is still good.

Ok, so I just dropped the $229 on this, I hope it is as great as everyone says because I'm going to be in big trouble with my hubby when he finds out I bought it! :D

What is the body bugg? I'm in the process of doing the steps to get banded, but also researching every aspect as I get ready for surgery.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
