Hi, Tamala!!!!

I must confess, I am not wearing my BB right now, giving my arm a break, as I was getting a lovely BB indention in it. Any suggestions on how to prevent that from happening?

to help with indentations just move the bodybugg slightly up and down on your arm. It doesnt have to be in the exact same place everyday.

Ok stupid question...

Does anyone know how to erase multiple entries of foods ?

I was attempting to add "custom" foods to my plan and was entering everything.

For example -

I have a cup of rice krispies with skim milk and a splenda packet every morning. The skim milk at work is different than the Hood brand milk I buy at home (the one at work has 4x the carbs)

Anyway - I was attempting to add "rice krispies @ work" and "rice krispies @ home" as "meals" and I was FINALLY able to, but not before creating about 14 entries for rice krispies.

I have no idea what I did wrong - but I'd like to delete all of those "extra" entries so that I don't have to scroll looking for the correct ones.

That is just a list to choice from. It will bring up manual food entries that you have eaten at that meal. It won't add to calories consumed unless you select it.l

I was just searching my online BB screen and found a part where we can order replacement pieces - you can get a digital readout for 39 bucks! I already have mine, but for those of you that don't have it yet, that sounds like a good deal!

So...I think maybe I missed something. I purchased my BB at at 24 Hour Fitness a over a week ago. The manager at the gym took my measurments and set up my account online. I have been using it ever since, logging my food and uploading my calories from the BB to my computer. What is this that everyone is talking about coaching sessions with someone online? Did that come with my purchase?

I read a post on here that says you are supposed to wear the BB on your right arm? My right arm got irritated from the Bugg, so I switched to my left? Does anyone know of a problem with that?

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
