I just ordered the bodybugg. It was on sale for 279. I used the old coupon code BLC24 (although it will do the same thing if you type in anything like B4BCL) which gave an additional 50 off. So a total of 229. I did not get the digital display.

I just became the proud owner of a bodybugg. I have been debating for 2 months, reading and rereading the posts here. When I checked 24hour fitness it was 279 and used the $50 off code, so I got it for abour 236.

This is my Christmas present from DH. The question is-How the heck am I gonna wait until Christmas? I don't think I will be able too-I thinking if I use it right away, my Christmas present might be being 10 lbs lighter-C'mon folks tell me what I want to hear!!!:eyebrows:

Besides the fact that your trainer is going to call you to help you set it up soooo you'll have to have it out in order to go through the website with her :) There's ya answer hahaha

.. though the trainer can't/won't call until you confirm an appointment by email. I was using mine for almost 2 weeks before I got around to setting up the appointment with the trainer!

Mine is supposed to be for Christmas but there is no way I am waiting. I want to lose another 25 pounds by my 1 year anniversary - I need the bug now to be able to come close to that goal.

Truslelle,

Don't wait! I love my bugg once you put it on it is hard to live without. Also the trial membership is only good for 3 months. I don't know if this is after it is activated or on purchase.

What good will your BB do sitting in a box under the tree? That's just silly. Get it and use it!

(Hope I helped.)

I guess I am just going to have to use it right away-I know my husband, if I use it now he will probably get me something else for under the tree. He is really a DH!

I just ordered one! I'm so excited. I didn't even know what it was until I was looking in here on the exercise forum. I think this will be great for me because I know I'm really bad about thinking I don't consume as many calories as I actually do.

Ok, my first coaching session is tomorrow morning. What are these like? Is it all about learning how to use it, and navigate the website, and stuff like that, or what????

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
