I am loving my Body Bugg....it has definately kept me moving and away from food. I sure don't want to have to up my exercise to burn more calories! I wear mine to bed because I love to see what I burn during the night...as far as sex goes..if I ever have it again I will definately wear it just to see how many calories I can burn...might just cancel my gym membership at that point...HAHA...

I just bought a bugg in E-bay! Can't wait for it to come. Paid 1/2 of what they retail for on the web site!

weight.png

If you got it on eBay you will NOT have the 3 month subscription and WILL have to pay $199 for your first 3 months... So, combining that with the cost of what you paid on eBay and it wasn't a good deal at all... considering if you'd got it on 24hourfitness.com you'd only paid a total of $229! (I know this cause I'd been looking on eBay for a while before I decided it wasn't worth it!) See if you can cancel your order, or return it.

I have still got the bugg. I love this thing. I have had a 1500+ calorie deficit every day since I have gotten it. It is good to know that since I ran this morning I have already burned all the calories I plan on eating today so now everything else is gonna reduce this flab. Why oh why did I not get this thing sooner? It would have even been worth paying the full price for.

BG

Do you plan, like write out your food daily before you eat? Or do you just know that you're going to keep it to a certain calorie level for the day?

You guys are so funny! I have had a BodyBugg for 5 months now, and don't you know, the sex/calories burned thing wasn't that big of a difference from the usual?? damn...lol

I HAVE noticed though that the housework, etc., that Ido on a regular basis that gets counted just encourages me to be more active - even in the gym with the personal trainer, etc. I love my bugg....

I plan it in the morning or the night before. I have a monthly menu for dinner planned (helps with the grocery shopping and keeping the family informed) and I usually eat the same thing for lunch. Now I just log it in the am on the bodybugg site and if I sway from it I go back in an change it up. If I want a treat during the day I will remove something else from a later meal to keep the calories roughly the same and such.

Well shit that is depressing. I am going to have to bust out the kama sutra book and find some gymnastic positioning.

And boo that I have not even gotten to find this out on my own yet. Damn conflicting work schedules. Usually I am not in the mood, and now that i am I can't seem to find the time. Dear God please let me get laid.

Oh I never even thought of that. I probably burn more watching a Lions game than I do running. Hehe.

Wow a monthly dinner menu planned? That's amazing. I don't know what I'll be eating today, let alone tomorrow. But you have a family and it's just me or just me and Z half the time. I cook, and not go out to eat, but it's usally decided about 10 minutes before I start.

You're my hero on so many levels.

Good luck with matching up schedules with DH.

I only did the dinner thing to save on money and time. When I would go shopping I would buy six of this and half a dozen of that, 14 bag of chips, maybe a cake or two, hey how about some tacos this week, or chicken on friday. Does anyone want spaghetti? I just got so tired of worrying about it that I started making menus and shopping lists to go with them. So I spend maybe $150 in groceries for two weeks for 5 people instead of $200 a week because I know what I need and I don't just buy everything in sight. And it is less stressful when I am working 60 hours a week to just know what I have planned and get the stuff out of the freezer the night before.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
