I have had my BB for two weeks now. If anything, I have gained. My pants are tighter although the scale has not moved up or down. I know I am gaining muscle galore as I am walking and cycling like crazy (11,000 steps plus a day). I have a deficit of anywhere from 600 to 1300 a day but still no loss. I am highly frustrated, disappointed, to the point of crying, whatever you want to call it, just don't call it happy at this point.

Sorry, just needed to vent. I am lost as to what to do next.

Freebird-- My BB wants me to eat 1250 and burn 2150. If I do this, I gain. I have to keep my calories below 1000 to lose.

I think I am going to decrease my calories too. Trouble is, I am so ravenous all the time, it's tough to go under 1200 (which I try to stick to or under), even though it tells me I need to consume 1450. All I know is, I'm just not losing anymore.....I will lose a pound and gain it back the following week. FRUSTRATING! 100g of Protein, 90 ounces of Water, exercise 4-5 days a week....I just don't know what else to do!

Hey everyone! I just got an iPhone 4 and was looking for the bodybugg app on the apex website. Why did I think there was one that synce with the iphone to tell you your calories burned throughout the day? Was I wrong? Is it just to keep track of calories consumed? And where on the site is it? I could have sworn that I've seen it on the before but of course now that I have an iPhone I can't find it! :o

Hi Amy,

I LOVE the iPhone 4!!! Hope you do too!

I also was looking for the app, but in doing a google search, is seemed that I could only access the site from Safari--doesn't look like anything is in the App Store just yet.

HTH! Enjoy your new toy!!

Do you have to keep the online program to keep using the bodybugg. I am coming up on 6 months of having my bodybugg and I will honestly say i dont really log my food online. I like to log it more in a notebook.. Can i keep using the bodybugg with my watch display without the online program?

Can someone help clue me in on this body bugg? I went to the website but couldn't really see much because I don't have an account. How much is it and how much is the monthly fee?

Funny!! I was just looking for this thread to say I purchased one. I'm being proactive. Getting banded on the 8th and hopefully will have my bugg before that.

I got the one that is compatible with the Android phones. It was $219 and it's $10 a month. Or only $50 for 6 months, or $80 for 12 if you buy them months in bulk. It comes with 6 months free though. :blushing:

I bought my BB back in July being proactive before being banded on 8/16.

I am not loving it at all. I hate going on line and logging in food . I just hate it.

I have only worn my BB maybe a total of 1 week or less since I've had it.

For me for now it was a waste of $300.00 as I'm looking at it sitting in the box on my dresser.

I just found one on Craigslist for $90 with the display shipped to my house!! Not too bad of a chance investment tp see if it helps me.

My bodybugg arrived today!! I am very excited although it was a pain getting it set up and registered. I guess I should have read past the registration card and into the book where it said only compatible with explorer and safari browser. Anyway, it is currently charging and I am looking forward to getting started. I also purchased the digital display as I like the idea of instant knowledge. I think it will keep me accountable. I used this thread in my research into whether to purchase the bodybugg so thanks to all who posted!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
