SpecialK 22 Posted May 29, 2009 Also a warning to those who use a riding mower -- take your Bodybugg off before getting on the mower. It is not smart enough to figure out that the velocity of your body is due to the mower moving and not your body moving! It tried to give me credit for an 1.5 hrs of running and because it was a logged metric on the device, it wouldn't let me correct it to say I was burning calories at the rate I would have been sitting. BethFromVA 5 Posted May 29, 2009 Hm, that may explain why when I ride my motorcycle, it reflects a higher caloric expenditure.
skinnyjeans 2 Posted May 29, 2009 I want a new black one - I was hoping they would give a good discount for those of us with an active one - but 189 isnt much of a discount. i just upgraded to the new black one and now it's being offered for $139. Plus you get the 6 mos free subscription. Like the new size. It's different like where the usb is and it snaps into the strap but liking it.
minpinmom 2 Posted May 29, 2009 Wow, thats awesome considering you get an additional 6 months -hmm, should I ask the hubbs or just get it?

Dr. marsden is Great. He's such a good ol boy. $139 is the price if you had the older model and want to upgrade (you still had to be in current subscription with older model). There is no on/off button. you just take it off and it shuts down. new black model works with mac

scanlon21 0 Posted June 4, 2009 That is exactly like the "GoWearFit" band that I have. I have been using it for about 2 months. In fact that is what the Biggest Loser people use. It is the same manufacuter Body Media but it costs more. A little more web stuff but not sure if it is worth the additional cost. Mine was 150 for the band and 7.00 per month for online support. amber020682 0 Posted April 23, 2010 I just bought a body bugg and set it up tonight. I have a few questions about it... do you all wear yours 24/7? and sync it up daily?
scanlon21 0 Posted April 23, 2010 I initially and continued to wear it 24/7 and connected it daily but after I got used to it I only connected it when the battery wore down. I never owned the watch band that showed you instantly. But after you start to learn your body you will know whether or not you did our calorie burn. Good luck
amber020682 0 Posted April 26, 2010 I'm not getting the watch display either, I don't think I would ever wear it... I've been wearing mine all the time, except when I sleep. Someone mentioned not wearing it while driving, that doesn't really have an effect on the data does it?
scanlon21 0 Posted April 27, 2010 I wore the band 24/7 including sleep time -- my band told me how efficient my sleep was and that was/is important to losing weight. If you are not resting you will not lose weight. It doesn't really effect the data just give you a bit more.

juliansmom2003 3 Posted May 5, 2010 I actually got an amazing deal yesterday off eBay--$176 for the v3 BodyBugg AND the digital display! It already shipped, so it should be here tomorrow or Friday. Question though--does anyone know if I can get a trial subscription to their site or do I need to cough up $79 for the six months? God, wish they had a month to month plan so it's not such a big chunk of money at once......

God, wish they had a month to month plan so it's not such a big chunk of money at once...... You should have just bought everything from 24 Hour Fitness. Did you have to pay shipping because I ordered mine from 24 Hour Fitness and the total, including the 6 month free subscription came to 255 which is what you're going to end up paying if you're not able to get a trial subscription. The shipping was also free from 24 hr fitness
