How much is too much? Pureed foods

So I'm on the pureed diet. I am eating about 4 oz, maybe 4.5 oz a meal right now, three times a day. I don't think I am overdoing it or stretching anything. I am handling it fine in my stomach, or so I thought....

Is that too much food? Am I all right? I am always hungry but when I eat I get filled up fast. I'm worried I am eating too much... but I am dropping about a pound and a half a day. So I know I'm not eating too much, but I say eating too much in reference to my healing stomach. I don't want my pouch to get stretched

4 oz of purée is different than 4 oz of solids. I wouldn't go over 4 oz. but I think you are ok. I couldn't eat that much at that point but everyone is different. Are you uncomfortable after eating?

I probably wouldn't go over 4 oz but how much does your NUT/surgeon tell you to have?

As long as you're not making yourself sick, I don't see the problem. You will likely have a much more challenging time when you progress to solids, so make sure you take it VERY slow. Don't just jump in there thinking you can eat a half cup of solids the way you are doing with purees. You will be VERY VERY uncomfortable if you do!
