lyndabuon 16 Posted March 16, 2015 Hi, waiting for surgery date which I will probably hear something this week. I am getting nervous and scared because I don't take pain very well. Been reading so many post in how people are having difficulty in drinking and eating, plus getting in their Water. I am so ready for the journey but not sure if I'm ready for the pain that is associated with the surgery.

1SlimmerMe 122 Posted March 16, 2015 My date is March 31st, I start my pre op diet Tuesday! My husband is about 10 days post op and I'm afraid I won't do as we'll as he has. He says that I've had a baby so I'll be fine, LOL! He has had no problems getting his fluids or protien in. I was almost thinking something was wrong because it all went so smoothly. His struggle is more mental. I say think positively, there will be bumps in the road on your journey. I'd much rather deal with those opposed to the issues that come with staying obese. Good luck to you all!
lyndabuon 16 Posted March 16, 2015 You are so right about dealing with uncomfortable then being obese. I have been in and out of hospitals for the last 5 years and I am so ready for a new life. I'm down 29 lbs before surgery and just looking forward in being healthy. My heaviest weight was 400 lbs. I will never want to be up there again. When I started this journey in August I was 384 and Right now I am 355.
Elode 8,093 Posted March 16, 2015 It's probably not going to be as bad as your imagining. Pain is a short side effect of a beautiful journey!
