Elode 8,093 Posted March 14, 2015 @@Hertsukfem31 You may need to ask your DR for a stronger narcotic. I had to and the step up was an amazing difference!!
Hertsukfem31 50 Posted March 15, 2015 When I walk I just start feeling extremely sick and want to throw up! It's horrible! I even have sick pills and they aren't helping me
Luvin_Life125 558 Posted March 15, 2015 The first week post op sucks. Hang in there and keep walking. Make sure you take care of yourself and this will be a distant memory soon.
Jovie62 135 Posted March 15, 2015 I was the same. Did short walks through out the day the rest of the time was in bed. Had to take a laxative to get things moving. On in my fourth week and it does get much much better. Be easy on yourself and let your body heal.
theskinnyone 22 Posted March 15, 2015 Are you having the pressure/ pain in your shoulders? That is so painful. the only way to help is to get that trapped air out by moving around. I did heat and walking. Also try laying on your left side. Hope you feel better soon.
Hertsukfem31 50 Posted March 15, 2015 The wind pain isn't too massive it's the pain from the op that hurts the most
Kindle 8,667 Posted March 15, 2015 I'd definitely talk to your surgeon. I had no surgery pain postop, but if yours is normal for your surgeon, perhaps he can get you different pain medication, you shouldn't have to be suffering.
