soulstarr 0 Posted March 13, 2015 I has surgery jan 26. At 6 week, I'm down like 15. I losing slow, according to a fellow sleever, because I ate food too soon. I did kind of speed through some phases. That's behind me. Now I need a game plan. I'm making great food choices and joined the gym. But I'm very discouraged. Kind words and suggestions needed. JamieLogical 8,710 Posted March 13, 2015 15 pounds in 6 weeks seems pretty reasonable to me. I lost 18.8 pounds in my first 6 weeks, so not much more than you. I don't condone eating off your surgeon/nutritionist's schedule, but what's done is done and all you can do is try to stick to the plan moving forward. Kindle 8,667 Posted March 13, 2015 Took me 3 months to lose 30 pounds so I'd say you are right on track. Losing slow is better for you anyways. I was thrilled with my progress and the rate of loss did not keep me from reaching, passing and maintaining below goal. Keep exercising, making good, healthy food choices, relax, and enjoy the journey!
CanyonBaby 1,852 Posted March 13, 2015 Keep in mind your body is in shock at having something so drastic done to it. But if you are following your surgical teams rules, you will lose, it may take a bit, though. Have patience and persist with the right track, and be kind to yourself! You are human, and are going to make mistakes. Learning from them is the key! Bless you!

YourFriendJess 34 Posted March 13, 2015 @Elode How many carbs a day do you average? I think I may be taking in too many and was just curious what others consume.
sallyomalley67 77 Posted March 13, 2015 Most that lose well seem to stay with the 20gr or less of carbs.
