Angelpoet73 8 Posted March 11, 2015 I am a teacher, and I was planning on having my surgery this summer. BUT it looks like June will be too full, and I don't really want to push it back to July. I have had a c-section and gall bladder surgeries before, and it didn't take very long to bounce back. I was wondering if anyone went back to a desk job fairly early? JamieLogical 8,710 Posted March 11, 2015 I went back to my desk job at 15 days post-op and I will say that, while I handled it, my main issue was fatigue. I was simple EXHAUSTED all of the time until I was able to start eating more real foods. I was allowed to have soft/pureed foods until 18 days post-op. So definitely look into what your post-op nutrition schedule will be, as I think that will play a big role in how you are feeling.
Elode 8,093 Posted March 11, 2015 I had surgery on a Monday and was back in class that following Monday. Everyone's different though.
