fox99 19 Posted March 11, 2015 I am scheduled for surgery on March 25. I started my pre op phase yesterday. So far I am feeling ok, not too hungry. Im very worried that I will feel horrible, weak and shaky. I HATE that feeling. Ive had hypoglycemia issues since I was a young child and its just the worst when your blood sugar suddenly nosedives. Ive been dreading this phase most of all. Anyone else in the pre op diet phase? How's it going?

TealSister 296 Posted March 11, 2015 I was just going through my clear liquid diet "rules" for the 80th time -- but just noticed that I canNOT use pre-made shakes because of the added fat, calories and Fiber. Does anyone else have this rule? Thanks!
moonlitrose25 13 Posted March 11, 2015 I was told that I could drink premade glucerna hunger smart, boost glucose control or slim fast low carb but to limit it to one maybe 2 a day.
fox99 19 Posted March 11, 2015 I was also given a list of acceptable premade shakes. I dont remember which ones but I know slim fast and glucerna were not on the list.
