futurebander14 7 Posted March 10, 2015 I'm 2 months post op, today I got my 3rd fill. I have a 10cc band today I got a 3cc fill, which brings me to 6cc. Can anyone help me with what I could eat at this point. I'm so afraid to try anything because I fear it will get stuck. Any tips and advice would be great. Also, I really feel this fill. Do you think it will relax any?
Bob the builder 32 Posted March 11, 2015 I got a fill today too. My doc always says to only do liquids for a couple of days after a fill then to the "mushies" stage and then to normal foods. The key is to take small bites and chew well. Unless you're too tight, after a couple days most meats (I have trouble with steak unless it's really tender) and veggies should pass. neenee717 37 Posted March 13, 2015 Like previous poster said you start off light and build up. I've been banded 4 1/2. Years and haven't had fill in about 2 1/2 yrs. you at some point will get stuck but who knows what that will be. For me steak/beef eaten to quickly and too many large bites did it for me. Different foods work for different people. Ex: I cannot tolerate lettuce or toasted breads, while others are just fine with it
