I was sleeved on 2/10 so tomorrow makes a month, I have lost 31lbs which I am thrilled about however that was all in the first 2 weeks.... I have been in a major stall since.

I am getting all my Water in, eating correctly (however nowhere near getting my Protein in, I haven't been able to get the shakes down since preop) my daily calories are around 450-500 and that's with 3 meals a day, some days including a snack.

Any advice on how to get the scale moving again? Is this normal??

It's hard to not get discouraged after going through all this and the scale has just stopped on me!

Thanks in advance!

You should look into the clear Isopure. I love the apple melon and the blue rasberry. 40 grams of Protein and you count it as your liquids. I am having surgery tomorrow and I am so ready to get this ball rolling.

Eat more, force the calories. You are teaching your body to slow down, your metabolism must be tanked. Lots of studies say eating that few calories is counter-productive. I was sleeve 2/16 and up to 800-1000 cal a day and I feel I my metabolism has slowed. Eat eat eat, and start reving up the green tea to get your metabolism boosted

That makes sense, I was worried it was from to little Protein or calories.

I have 4 year old twin boys so I force myself to be active during the day, but your right I am just completely exhausted.... I've never had green tea, I'll definitely give it a try.

I'm not sure how to increase my calories a ton other than adding the Protein Powder or doing two Snacks a day....

I like Protein bars- the Atkins chocolate ones, they taste just like a candy bar. I work a lot, so I get a lot of kids meals and pick at them all day long, you can get pretty healthy ones too. I get the Panda Express kids meal with mixed veggies and teriyaki chicken- very tasty. I also eat a lot of eggs, my favorite is one scrambled egg with low fat sour cream, chives, diced Tomato and just a sprinkle of Palm cheese. That's perfect sleeve size and only abou 250 cal.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
