BetterMEsoon 15 Posted March 10, 2015 I am on the preop diet. I've had good days and bad days. I had the pre surgery class at the hospital today so I'm ready for Monday.
Kai13 4 Posted March 10, 2015 I haven't done any press surgery classes whatsoever. Dr hasn't even mentioned them? Is it a requirement? Yes I'm not even sure if I'm supposed to be eating? Are you eating anything? Pre*
BetterMEsoon 15 Posted March 10, 2015 My doctor requires a pre surgery class to go over what to expect in the hospital, detailed surgery info and what to do at home like complications to look for. I'm allowed to have 2-3 Protein shakes, 4 oz lean meat, 2-3 cups vegetables cooked or raw. No carbonation, sugar, fruit, bread etc. Who is your doctor? BetterMEsoon 15 Posted March 12, 2015 (edited) I see that he practices at HCA. I'm also going to be an HCA hospital. I'm surprised they aren't similar in requirements. The hospital did the pre op class. Edited March 12, 2015 by BetterMEsoon
