Big Guy 77 11 Posted March 6, 2015 I searched for an answer but couldn't find one. I have to go out to dinner for a relatives birthday. That night I'll be 10 days post op and I'm already stage 2, pureed/soft foods (I went home from the hospital on stage 2). The restaurant offers "grilled salmon." I'm wondering, if I mash it up well with a fork, can I eat this? I've been eating tuna salad and pink salmon salad already (mashed with olive oil mayo). I was never a big fish eater, but the only other things on the entire menu are chicken Soup (I'd only have the broth) or mashed potatoes. Advice appreciated. BeagleLover 1,020 Posted March 6, 2015 The salmon sounds reasonable.
Murphy'sMama 20 Posted March 6, 2015 Just my opinion...order mussels in red or white sauce ( i order the appetizer portion).. It looks like a lot... But you eat a few...& then remove the shells, put them in the discard dish...it looks like you ate a good portion of it & then you can take the rest home. yogachick 56 Posted March 6, 2015 Yes that's on the soft phase. However, be careful because it has to be very very moist or it will get stuck in your throat. I speak from experience.
