areellady 1 Posted June 5, 2007 Has anyone had good luck with grilled these with some olive oil, salt and pepper? I want to use them like a hamburger patty without a bun. I am trying them tonight, just thought I would see if anyone else had good luck with them. They are suppose to be a meaty texture. I am not a vegan at all, but I do miss my vegetables. In fact most of time i eat my vegetables first so I make sure and get them. I really do miss them. I NEVER thought I would miss vegetables, but I DO!! travelgirl 3 Posted June 5, 2007 Mmmmmmmmmmm...... LOVE portobello mushrooms.... Sounds good to me! You shouldn't have a problem with it, and they sure are tasty. I season them with a little thyme, gives a nice flavor...

JosieK 120 Posted June 5, 2007 hi areellady, up until memorial day....i've had trouble eating almost everything. however grilled portobello mushrooms were easier for me to eat. i didnt have trouble with them. (i cut into small pieces and chewed) i marinated them in olive oil, salt + pepper and a little balsamic vinegar... grill about 4-5 mins on each side....yummmmm! enjoy!
