cockapoomom 89 Posted March 8, 2015 Okay, to be perfectly honest I have had cottage cheese twice. One today and once yesterday. I also cheated by having a half cup of lentil Soup with a Caesar salad. This is not easy for me at all. I'm still doing my Protein shakes and liquids, today no solid food at all. I am down 6 lbs in 6 days. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I had the worst head cold and was stuck at work for 16 hrs and couldn't imagine trying to muster energy with nothing for my body to break down. I just put a big bowl of sugar free Jello to chill in the fridge for popcorn.< /p> A close friend who had sleeve said she cheated almost everyday including in and out burger and chick filet and her surgery went great. Total since I started dieting in August with my surgeon and Nutritionist - 40lbs Wow since August I was down. 7 back up 5 now since I started this pre op a week ago I'm down 5. We've got this - we're doing a lot better than some, and our choices are not in the least bit horrible... though I could have went for a dominos pizza yesterday at work lol. @@heav85 I started my journey August 22nd, injured myself in November a week before pre op liquid and had my surgery postponed. heav85 123 Posted March 9, 2015 So my in laws are taking us out to a Mexican restaurant or bdubs tomorrow and it will be day 9 of my pre op. I'm allowed one meal a day consisting of 2 Oz of meat and a salad. I think I may pull out my bariatric diners card and get a small meal. They have black bean burgers at bdubs. bcnile 8 Posted March 9, 2015 Day 5 now and I have cheated once by eating broccoli. That was on day 3. I am only allowed clear sugar free liquids and Protein Shakes. I don't have a problem with feeling hungry all the time....just fighting old habits of putting something in my mouth at any opportunity. I'm just craving something to CHEW now.
