Susan Taylor Frison 1 Posted May 11, 2016 I started getting hot flashes again after my sleeve. I'd had a hysterectomy years before. My surgeon explained to me that hormones are stored in the fat and when we lose the fat, the hormones are released.
Aberdeenlassie 0 Posted July 24, 2016 Had my surgery on June 21st 2016. Over a month ago and the 50 times a day flushing after tea, coffee and all night long are GONE.... Have no idea why. I drink my tea and coffee still in the AM and not one. This was worth the surgery alone for the flashings. LOL. I live in cotton, air conditioning, fans, and now it's totally not a problem. I even took HRT at 63 to try and get a nights sleep. Now at 64 and feeling great. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
