Misty1975 1 Posted February 28, 2015 Hello! I have been avidly researching this forum in preparation for my sleeve on March 25th with Dr. Alvarez. I want to be prepared for after surgery as much as possible. First of all, thank you so much to everyone who posts all of this useful information. I would not be anywhere near prepared without all of the insight everyone openly shares! :0) As I have been preparing, I have come across a lot of information on Protein Shakes. I see that some of you use Torani sugar free Syrup in them to offer variety in the taste. I am debating on buying a six pack of the SF Torani syrups, but I want to know are there other things you can use the syrup in besides Protein shakes? I apologize in advance if this is a silly question.

greatestnameever 49 Posted February 28, 2015 I mixed the raspberry one with Lite Cool Whip and froze it, it was like ice cream!
Kindle 8,667 Posted February 28, 2015 Besides my Protein smoothies, I use Torani and Davinci syrups to flavor plain Greek yogurt and to make flavored coffee/lattes and hot chocolate (homemade, Protein rich recipe) . I also mix it with Protein Powder, greek yogurt, milk and sometimes add nuts and freeze to make protein "ice cream". I've got hazelnut, almond, english toffee, salted caramel, irish cream, tiramisu, pumpkin pie and gingerbread in stock right now. I've never bought the fruit flavors because I just use real fruit when I want those flavors.

Misty1975 1 Posted March 2, 2015 I found a six pack variety set at Amazon for $39. It's for the large bottles, 25 oz each.
Bluesea71 698 Posted March 2, 2015 I bought 6 huge bottles pre-surgery and maybe mixed them into yogurt a few times. They have sat unused in my kitchen the last year since my surgery.
branchlikeatree 0 Posted March 2, 2015 I bought these in vanilla and caramel favors and found I rarely used them. However, I don't eat yogurt...tried to and with the favors but it just wasn't enough flavor to mask the yogurt taste to me. The Protein Shakes didn't need the flavor to me. Thinkingthinner1109 485 Posted March 2, 2015 I have a bunch of unused bottles to. I don't make recipes with them because I would just eat it all. So I do single serving things and I don't use the syrups that's often. Rarely.
