Denied by insurance for a revision. Any one else experience this?

I was denied - I'm shocked. I meet their requirements.

BMI 35

2 meds for HBP

Supervised diet not required for surgery before March 15 (I'm scheduled for March 13)

Blue Cross

The peer to peer is on Tuesday and I have no idea what to expect

I have Cigna. I was originally denied but when I asked the reason, it was only because the hospital listed for the surgery was the the approved hospital. Fortunately, my surgeon practices at both hospitals so we re- submitted and it was approved. Keep us posted on how your peer to peer goes. I have seen other posts that were successful
