cmhueto 167 Posted May 3, 2015 Does anybody know how it is when you bring a guest as far as if they stay with you the whole time and is there things that they can do close not having a car trying to find out some info for the person that is going with meRuben told me my sis couldn't stay the first night with me but the second night she could stay with be at recovery house for $40 cause they'd feed her and take care of her there too. for the first night they recommend a nearby hotel and I know there is a Starbucks nearby and a quick taxi ride to a museum and theater that has movies in English and mall. cmhueto 167 Posted May 3, 2015 I'm not getting much in response from them. My guess is Ruben does it all and he can't handle it. Took 24 hours to get a response. Then no follow up email as promised. I want this scheduled 5/19 so I need to get on it I'd call him. Also make sure you fill out the application, i couldn't see that on the website on my phone but on my laptop I could. dorian122 20 Posted May 4, 2015 Those who have been to TJ already, is the area fairly safe. I know it's a big city.
cmhueto 167 Posted May 4, 2015 (edited) Where you will be yes (I live here) like you said it is a big city so like you would in any city take extra precaution to lock car doors and keep purses with you. I've left my ATM card in the machine at the grocery store near where I live here in Tijuana, someone found it and looked for me in the store and gave it back!!! I was the only white girl. But you won't be...there will be other americans in that area. Edited May 4, 2015 by cmhueto
Soonerjoseph 14 Posted May 4, 2015 Tijuana isn't the State of Jalisco of today, or the city of Juarez of yesterday. I would treat it like going to any city of comparable size in America.
