Guest bish Posted October 22, 2004 Hi! This is my first time here. A friend recommended it. I get my lapband on Monday, Oct 25th. I live in Michigan and have Dr. Zoe Deol. I can't wait for it, yet pray I won't fail - again. My family is very supportive, yet afraid something will go wrong. I believe in prayer and that gives me strength. Theresa Marie 0 Posted October 23, 2004 Congratulations. I am happy for you. I am new to the board too. My surgery is scheduled for November 30 and I am excited and somewhat scared too. I found so much helpful information as you search and read historical posts. The personal experience and insight is invaluable as we newbies prepare for our new life. I have so appreciated all these people and feel already like they are friends; I know you will gain strength and knowledge from these posts too. Please keep us posted on your recovery and your journey to health and renewed energy. God bless you. Terry
HarleyNana 10 Posted October 24, 2004 Lucky you! I WAS scheduled for Nov 18, but since I'm the 1st to be banded in my area, experienced, (I hope very) are being flown in to assist my dr. They couldn't make the 18th so it's been moved to Dec 6th. Quite a bummer, I am so ready and psyched, or I was. Stay in touch...Pat in VA
