erenee 4 Posted February 19, 2015 I had my sleeve surgery on January 7, 2915. During the liquid/soft food weeks I lost weight. Last week I started eating food food and I realize I don't feel full and can still eat A LOT. I feel like maybe they didn't really do the sleeve. I know I have to work at losing weight but I was hoping the sleeve would make it easier. Has this happened to anyone else?
Rogofulm 2,440 Posted February 19, 2015 I had the same feeling a few weeks out and my doc told me that hunger is often thirst in disguise. Between meals, try filling your sleeve with fluids. That really helps curb the hunger. And lots of fluids are good for everything, including avoiding Constipation and maintaining skin elasticity. But remember not to drink anything for 30-45 minutes before or after meals. Good luck!
