Kmgaustin 6 Posted February 18, 2015 I am 6 days post op and doing excellent The first 5 days were rough The first day was just awful, being in Tijuana where I had no idea what was going on because of the little English that was spoken was scary and I kept thinking what am I doing here. After a 8 hour travel day and plane ride from hell, I was whisked away into surgery and woke up and was like ok what's next. I was nervous all day then night came and I was puking blood clots which is very normal after surgery but I felt like I was going to die. Day 2, reaction to an iv medication that made he hot, red, and itchy. Kept telling dr's and nurses and no one would tell me what was going on till 10 pm that night. I am also on bi polar medications that I was withdrawing from till I could start swalloing pills again. So that made the healing process just awful fro 72 hours. But I did it Then days 4 home to Austin Texas Long flights home but I was so elated to get off that wonderful virgin airline ride home went to bed and slept for 8 hours after surgery i was up for 15 hours Monday I slept from 830-6 straight. wow that was so nice and today I am doing wonderful I feel so much better. Getting in my ensure clear drinks (1 a day) 8 grams of Protein, 2 cups of broth, 1.5 why Protein Shots of protein (46 grams of protein per 3.6 oz) loosing very little but i am still quite swollen and not excersising yet From January till today I've lost 18 lbs I am 202 and want to be 130 It'll happen as time moves on I have an interview today for a new job I am so excited how I feel I hope everyone else is doing better
