GeekMomChanging 48 Posted February 16, 2015 I have now made it through week one. Although it hasn't been fun, it's been textbook. First few days, the gas pain was killer. I walked and I walked and then I finally passed gas and the world was a better place (at least my world). I now can take a semi-normal sip of Water and I'm able to get in my 60-80 grams of Protein. I've been walking two miles a day and then collapsing on the sofa. I've never seen so much TV. I am very fatigued. My goal is to get in a few more grams of protein and calories so that I can lose the exhausted feeling. The pain has been mostly ok except that I sometimes get a searing pain on the left side which will go away if I lie down. Happily I have been losing about a pound a day and I am getting very close to onderland. I just keep chanting, "Don't stall until I get to onderland." How are the rest of the Feb 9thers doing? JamieLogical 8,710 Posted February 16, 2015 It'll keep getting easier week by week. Hang in there! I didn't really fully get over the fatigue until after I was back on solids, about a month and a half post-op. But it does get better!
